In a word ladder, you start with one word and change it into another word, changing only one letter at a time. This one changes “white” (at the top), into “black” (at the bottom) in 8 steps. There are many possible solutions. In mine, all the letters in “white” are white, and all the letters in “black” are black. The shades of gray represent different letters in the interim words. I have written my solution on the back of the mounted artwork.
